Subnautica 2 Lead locations route planner Pb

Required for radiation shielding and reinforced hull parts. Use this page as a route planner: compare the closest tracked Lead candidates by distance from the Lifepod, target depth, confidence, and EA build before committing to a run.

Check each row’s depth, confidence, and notes before planning a Lead run; hazards may shift between EA builds.

Best Lead route from Lifepod

Start with Cicada Wreck. From the Lifepod it is about 398m NE , target depth -77m (Descend 74m), confidence C4.

Best-supported lead row so far. Converted raw XYZ plus two route sources; still not personally verified in the current build.

2 visible candidates for this resource; 1 currently tagged C4/C5. The closest row is Northeast Ravine at 280m, but the best route favors stronger evidence over raw distance.

Quick answer

Where to start looking for Lead

The Cicada Wreck Bulkhead candidate is the main Lead anchor in the current seed set. It is useful, but should be treated as a candidate until your build confirms the wreck layout.

Route planning

Distance is not the whole route

Lead runs are better planned by depth and access requirement, not distance alone. Use the table to compare target depth, notes, and confidence before committing.

Before you dive

Check depth, tools, and confidence

Bring the tools required for wreck access if your target row mentions a bulkhead or blocked door. If the route has changed, use Report so the row can be rechecked.

Best for "subnautica 2 lead location" searches where the player wants a practical route and a warning about access blockers.

FAQ

Where do I find Lead in Subnautica 2?
Use the Lead table as a route-planning checklist: compare distance, depth, confidence, and notes before committing to a run. Early Access hazards and crafting requirements can change, so report any row that no longer matches your current build.
How do I read these coordinates in-game?
Pause the game and copy the raw XYZ values shown in the lower-right HUD. Public map data indicates raw X is east/west, raw Y is north/south, and raw Z is depth. The homepage Navigator converts those raw values relative to the Lifepod before calculating from-here distance and bearing.
A Lead node moved between EA builds — what now?
Each row shows the EA build/date currently attached to that coordinate candidate. If you find a moved or missing node in a newer build, click "Report" on the row — the form pre-fills the POI ID, page URL, and current coordinates so you only have to add the corrected XYZ and (ideally) a screenshot.
